A flyer was distributed at several parking lots in The Hague, advertising a (ficticious) pipe smoke contest in
the Literary Museum. It questions the use of collecting and showing utilitarian items once owned by writers
and it also questions the ‘event culture’ forced upon museums.

On Monday December 22 at 10:00 AM the original pipe of writer Godfried Bomans will be taken from its display case and participants can show us how long they can keep the pipe burning.
